Yara is looking for a Head of Communications to lead and manage the communications team at Yara International’s headquarters in Oslo. The ideal candidate comes with a proven-track record of delivering strong strategic communications and storytelling combined with entrepreneurial spirit and excellent people skills. This new energetic member of our team will help boost our external position and create internal excitement around our ambition to become a leading force in the transformation of the global food system.
The Corporate Communications team is part of Yara’s Corporate Development department with a global responsibility to position Yara with strong internal and external communication to strengthen the reputation among external stakeholders and increase engagement among employees.
As Head of Communications, you will be an important advisor to the Vice President Communications and to Yara executives, and manage, measure and improve the company´s work on external and internal communications. Central tasks include proactive media work, crisis communication and issues management, developing and executing coordinated content strategies across internal and external communications, as well as using your communication skills to further drive Yara´s position in Norway. We are looking for someone who is eager to utilize digital tools and channels to achieve and improve results.
The right candidate is a highly skilled communication expert with a strong drive and excellent networking skills, combined with relevant professional experience from the public or private sector.
