Communications is a vital part of this journey. To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a Communications Advisor based in Gard's head office in Arendal. The position will be part of our Customer Experience and Communications team, with a particular focus on corporate communications and stakeholder engagement.

In your role you will

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business goals and transform them into meaningful communication
  • Manage external stakeholders: media, authorities, industry associations etc
  • Engage with our leaders to support effective corporate communication
  • Design and implement campaigns and communication plans across all channels
  • Create and edit content for different platforms – web, social media, newsletters etc
  • Contribute to our sustainable business aspirations
  • Measure the impact of our communication

We are looking for a high energy, self-starting individual who can develop best practice in communications and advocate for first class messaging and delivery.

You will have relevant education and experience from strategic communication, including:

  • Experience with or background from working with media
  • Experience with corporate communications and/or marketing
  • Excellent communication skills, both English and Norwegian, written and spoken
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with team colleagues and elsewhere in the organization
  • Solution-oriented mindset and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • A positive attitude and team-player
  • High degree of cultural, equality, diversity, and inclusion awareness
