Office for Contemporary Art (OCA) is a non-profit foundation dedicated to fostering dialogue between art practitioners in Norway and the international arts scene, promoting and supporting Norwegian contemporary art on the international stage through grants, visits and exchanges and professional programming that is continuously developed and reflects the diversity and innovation within Norwegian and international contemporary art. OCA has been responsible for Norway’s contribution to the visual arts section of La Biennale di Venezia since 2001.

Vi ser etter deg som har interesse for samtidskunst og er oppdatert på ny teknologi. Du får ansvar for OCAs medie- og pressekontakt, innholdsproduksjon til nettsider samt drift og utvikling av OCAs digitale kanaler. Dette innebærer blant annet produksjon av videoer, tekst og bilder. Stillingen har oppgaver innenfor strategisk og praktisk kommunikasjonsarbeid.
Som kommunikasjonsansvarlig jobber du i nært samarbeid med en kommunikasjonsrådgiver, og et kompakt, engasjert og kompetent øvrig team. Vi ser for oss at du har erfaring fra lignende roller og motiveres av å jobbe med toppskiktet av internasjonal samtidskunst. OCA har store ambisjoner og i denne rollen vil du få mulighet til å forme og utvikle hvordan vi kommuniserer våre kunstfaglige program, tilskuddsordninger og besøksprogram.
For å lykkes i denne rollen må du håndtere et bredt interessebilde, og kommunisere svært godt både på norsk og engelsk. Personlige egenskaper vil vektlegges.

Are you interested in contributing to the international art scene by promoting contemporary art from Norway? Office for Contemporary Art Norway (OCA) is seeking an operational Head of Communications with strong expertise in social media and digital communication.
We are looking for someone with a passion for contemporary art and a keen interest in new technology. In this role, you will be responsible for OCA’s media relations and contact with the press, content production for websites, and other digital channels, including the creation of videos, text, and images. The position has tasks within strategic and practical communication work.
As Head of Communications, you will work closely with a compact, dedicated, and competent team, supported by a Communication Officer. We imagine that you have experience from similar roles and that you are motivated to work with the forefront of international contemporary art. OCA has ambitious goals, and in this position, you will have the opportunity to shape and develop how we communicate our public programmes, support schemes and visitor programmes.
To succeed in this role, you must handle a broad range of interests and communicate on a high proficiency level in both Norwegian and English. Personal qualities will be emphasized.
